Warda, Texas - Bluff Creek Ranch 8am til 8pm

This race is a 12 Hour mountain bike relay race on an 8-9 mile single-track course.  Teams try to log as many laps as possible, with only 1 member riding at a time, in the 12 hour time period.  This race may also be done solo.

"NRC Pedal Masher $50.00 Fastest Lap" NRC Pedal Masher will present $50.00 to the male & female that turn the NRC Pedal Masher Fastest Lap during the Dirty Dozen.

Over $10,000 in prizes and awards to be given out!

Categories for 12 Hour Race

• 5 PERSON: Teams must have at least 1 female and may have only 1 expert or pro rider per team
• 3-4 PERSON OPEN: Riders can be of any category, gender and age
• 3-4 PERSON MASTERS: Combined age must average 40 years of age per rider (example 4 riders = 160 years of age or more, 3 riders = 120 years of age or more)
• 3-4 PERSON FEMALE: Riders can be of any category and age, all must be female
• 2 PERSON MALE: No category or age requirements
• 2 PERSON FEMALE: No category or age requirments
• 2 PERSON COED: No category or age requirements
• SOLO EXPERT MALE: No category or age requirements
• SOLO SPORT MALE: Riders must be sport or beginner
• SOLO FEMALE: No category or age requirements

Categories for 6 Hour Race

• 2 PERSON OPEN: No category, age or gender requirements
• SOLO MALE: No category or age requirements
• SOLO FEMALE: No category or age requirements

**Teams must have lights and helmets** (Lights will be required on the course during the evening hours.  Race is from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm)

Cost: $75.00 per person pre-registration (includes race t-shirt), $85.00 per person after January 19th (late registered will not receive a t-shirt). The Frozen Six registration fees are $55 and $65 accordingly.

**Pre-registration must be postmarked no later than January 19, 2007 to receive early entry discount and race t-shirt** Race Day Registration - Friday 8-9 pm or Saturday 6:00 am to 7:00 am.  Late Registration and Race day registration will not receive T-shirts.

Please be prepared.  Bluff Creek will accept camping/team site reservations till Jan. 25th, after that what is left is first come, first serve. The ranch can be contacted by e-mail or phone (979-242-5894) for reservations. Bluff Creek Ranch will take care of collecting land use/camping fees. If arriving on Friday, please check in at the house, on Saturday AM they will check folks in at the gate.

Now for the important stuff - Damon, of Bluff Creek Ranch will be serving fajitas, burgers, breakfast burritos, pasta salad, coffee, and sodas. Food is offered from 6:00 AM till 9:00 PM. Burritos and coffee from 6 am until 10:00 am. All other food from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. Food will be served at the house on the ranch.  Come on up and "sit a spell".

Race check in & starting time:

Check in will be from 8:00 pm until 9:00 PM on Friday February 1, 2008 and 6:00 - 7:00 am on Saturday February 2, 2008.

There is a mandatory meeting at 7:00 am on February 2rd

Both races will start at 8am, Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008

Lights:

There will be a neutral charging station available at the timing area, as well as a NiteRider charging station.  NiteRider will be there with their fully stocked trailer of lights and parts.

Land Use Fee:  There is a $8 land use/camping fee to be collected at the gate for each person on race day (whether you are racing or not). Please be prepared.  Bluff Creek will accept camping/team site reservations till Jan. 25th, after that what is left is first come, first serve. From Austin: take 290 to Giddings. Take Highway 77 South from Giddings to Warda. In Warda turn left on Owl Creek Road and travel 0.6 miles to Bluff Creek Ranch.

From Houston: take I-10 West to Columbus. Take Highway 71 West from Columbus to LaGrange. Take Highway 77 North from LaGrange to Warda. In Warda turn right on Owl Creek Road and travel 0.6 miles to Bluff Creek Ranch. Nite Rider lighting systems and extra batteries are available for rent on a first come first served basis. Nite Rider super chargers will be provided at the race.
