There will be a central transition area where teams can set up a camp. During the race the teams will pass through this area several times making it possible to reload on food, water, change clothes, etc. Teams may not have assistance crews in the transition area. There are several legs in this race including mountain biking, paddling, and trekking. Boats will be provided and will already be pumped up. The boats are inflatable canoes (Sevylor Tahiti K79).  The canoes do not come with seats.  We recommend bringing your own High Back Seat made by Sevylor (Model H12Y).  These seats can be purchased through a Sevylor Dealer, or from us on race day.  Call in advance to make sure we have them in stock. You must use our boats, paddles, and pfds. There are no water stations along the course. Teammates must remain in visual contact with each other at all times. The course will be marked and will not involve land navigation. Teams will not be required to carry boats this year. Estimated finishing times for this race are 2-4 hours.
